1 The red and black volcanic pebbles that lay the shores of Santorini as well as the steep cliffs provide a unique picturesque ambience.


Kamari is a black sandy beach on the eastern coast of the island. Nearby you can find all types of restaurants, hotels, beach bars and tourist shops. Water sports are also available.


The red beach is located close to the ancient site of Akrotiri. It is a breathtaking setting, where red lava cliffs emerge from the black sandy shore and immerse into the clear blue sea.


Vlychada is for those who want to avoid crowds and look for a more quiet spot to relax. It is located on the southern tip of Santorini.


A black sandy beach located on the southeastern part of the island, stretches 5 miles along the coast. Starting from Perisa near the rock and ending with Perivolos further right, this is the largest organized beach in Santorini Island. It is popular for a wide range of water sport such as water skiing, wind surfing, diving and many other waters activities. Apart from these, sea front taverns, bar-restaurants, hotels and camping facilities are also available.


It is a small white beach on the Caldera side of the island and is only reachable by boat.


Monolithos beach is located on the northern part of Kamari on the east coast of the island. It is considered to be the most peaceful in Santorini.


Baxedes is favored by locals and tourists who want to avoid crowded beaches. Even though it is not organized, this place doesn't create the feeling of a neglected beach.


Katharos is only 1 km from Oia and is the most isolated beach on the island. With view to Thirasia and wind-engraved rocks, make it unique.


It is found on the north east coast of the island near Oia. It is a quiet sandy beach, not organized but offers shade for a great deal of the day. An ideal spot for those who want to avoid crowds.


It is the smallest organized beach very close to Fira. A black sandy beach with a few beach chairs and a lot of isolation.
